someone please listen to my sweet band,im very needy. http://donavindeisel.bandcamp.com/
Hey, shades mccain, I definitely dig your band. Sleepy and My Body really stand out. Hope Dona-Vin-Deisel really takes you somewhere!
Oh and I downloaded all of your songs. Please post more if you have any. I’ll send them over to my friends in the hopes of spreading your band’s name a little bit. Again, great stuff, man!
why thanks, my bloody valentine, im gonna be posting a bunch more stuff after christmas :)
Hey so I just sent an e-mail to pitchfork out of my boredom recommending your band. I wrote: At the moment Dona-Vin-Deisel only have four tracks on their site (‘Sleepy’, ‘My Body’, ‘U SUXS’ and ‘Legs’). Each one rips by in only a minute’s time (give or take), wasting not a moment of the listener’s time. ‘Sleepy’ emanates the sort of apathy that no indie rocker can resist. ‘My Body’ opens with a catchy, simple drum rhythm and closes with a punky, fetching chant with the band’s members singing in unison: “Everybody wants my body”. Anyway, I guess that’s only this person’s opinion; I’ll leave the reviewing up to Pitchfork. I’ve been told that Dona-Vin will update their website with more material post-Christmas. Anyway, please send this forward to whomever it may concern.
They sent back immediately after saying that they won’t be around until January 4th, understandably. Anyway, pitchfork made many bands into what they are today. They made Arcade Fire into a success. We’ll see what they think of Dona-Vin-Deisel.
Merry Christmas
for reals? man you rock, you can now consider yourself an honorary band member.
merry christmas.

Without a doubt, this is the best thread in any of these 2009-in-review pages.
