Our Favorite Indie Rock A-L

How about The Uglysuit??
My favorite album of the year for sure. You all wrote a great review about it, one of the reasons I bought it. Gave it 4 stars.
Other than that, this is an awesome list with some good new bands I hadn’t heard of. Thanks.
Overall a great list. One glaring omission: Stephan Malkmus and the Jicks!
No She & Him?
awesome list. the only thing i disagree with is jay retread, which sucked major dong.
this IS a good list. thanks for not following the status quo and actually picking your faves. i plan to check out that school of seven bells album now for sure. love to amg!
Wolf Parade?
You gave AMZ four stars, or maybe even four and a half, and now what?
I agree with dxy, no Wolf Parade? Seriously, guys, where are y’all at? This album was better, and rated higher, than some of the bullshit you have up.
Come on, guys. No Wolf Parade? I agree with dxy. Y’all rated it higher than a lot of these.
Awesome list again… Thanks!
And…yay..the sons & daughters are here!
I find it quite funny that Shearwater made it to the list but not their main band, the stunning Okkervil River. C’mon, guys, The Stand-Ins was a phenomenal album!
I agree with many above me - excellent list, but one glaring omission. Wolf Parade’s ‘At Mount Zoomer’ was a fantastic album and you guys even rated it 4 1/2 stars.
Good list, Tv on the radio are truely amazing. Dear Science and return to cookie mountain are masterpieces. Only a few albums left off, Wolf Parade:At Mount Zoomer, TK and the visions: Ancestor, Cold War Kids: Loyalty to Loyalty, Delta Spirt: Ode to Sunshine, and the best of them: the self entitled Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson,. but beside that great list.
I feel the Sea and Cake’s excellent album Car Alarm should have made the list, as well as Wolf Parade’s At Mount Zoomer. Good to see Portastatic on the list!
