David Bowie - Live in Santa Monica ‘72 - This is an amazing piece of rock history particularly for those of us too young to have been around. The sound quality is as good or better than any live recording I’ve heard before. And Bowie’s performance is from what I’ve read at the top of Ziggy’s power, though not all songs are from that record (check out Changes) and in fact the entire record is not played. His backing band goes from rock to subtle with ease. i can’t imagine a better CD this summer.
