Lil Wayne is to Bob Dylan what Hitler is to Peanut Butter. There’s no relationship, and more and more often it’s apparent Rolling Stone’s “critics” are on some serious drugs. Or they just suck.
Patty Smythe and Scandal are back together? YOU CANNOT BE SERIOUS!
hey CC, the piece is attributed to Time Magazine, not Rolling Stone. Dylan has said that the next version of him would be in the form of a rapper. this was around the time of Eminem being compared to Bob.
That’s funny, Seymour Stein compared Ice T to Bob Dylan when he first signed the gangsta rap pioneer back in the mid 80s.
how do you forget you recorded an album with jimi hendrix? i want to know what you take to make something like that just disappear.
and you know, it’s possible everyone was so high it all sucks. i’m not sure that matters to some people.
Oops. Okay, so Time’s music writers are nuts. Maybe I’m sick of Lil Wayne. Still seems silly to me that yet another guy that raps about being a badass, having lots of money and women and getting f%^&ed up, no matter how “creative” his flow, gets compared to Dylan. And Lil Wayne cannot play the guitar, despite what’s been reported lately. Check out the youtube footage- he can’t even find the volume knob. Oh well…
