'A Pleasure' from Recurrence features one of the all-time greatest acoustic guitar riffs. Newby was/is a truly talented musician and songwriter. The University of Richmond station. Loved that station like I love my dog. I remember the best song for me being "His and Hearse" by Bar-B-Cue Killers from that supafly Athens, GA Inside/Out comp. Now that's in serious need of reissue. The Railway Children's "Brighter" and "Gentle Sound" ended up on many a mix tape I'd make for my lady at the time. Thanks for reminding me about this band. I actually think I've got Reunion Wilderness on tape. Cool. Next up for reissues: Miracle Legion's The Backyard and Athens,GA: Inside/Out Richmond, VA, late 80’s, the station: WDCE 90.1.
