My vote is for the Alpaca Brothers’ ‘Legless’ EP to be reissued. Someone out there please read this and get it done!!!

This list could have gone on for much longer for sure. Straitjacket Fits, Snapper, Sneaky Feelings, Look Blue Go Purple, JPS Experience, Alpaca Brothers…..also all the rest of the Bats, Chills and Verlaines albums. Basically someone needs to buy up the entire Flying Nun catalog and get to work!

I second the call for the Alpaca Brothers EP to be reissued. ‘The Lie’ is a singalong gem which deserves to be heard by many more people. Bruce Blucher’s other band Cyclops also released some pretty memorable songs, and don’t get mentioned very often. The album that is most due for reissue treatment though - in my opinion - is Peter Gutteridge’s ‘Pure’. To my knowledge it was only released on cassette by Xpressway; a shame, as the album is chock-full of gorgeous motorik drones and Gutteridge’s brilliant pop sense.

Everything I’ve heard from the above list is fantastic. A domestically available Flying Nun/Kiwi boxed set would be a dream.
