peter brotzman machine gun is my personal favorite jazz album i've been knowing about it for years and it's good to see amg put it in the spotlight. It's the kind of album that relies on pure emotion and is capable of making a listener reconsider what music (not just jazz) is all about. There is much more anger and raw emotion oozing from this album than any hardcore/metal rock album out. A true masterpiece and pure genius highly recommended.
